If static electricity accumulates on an ungrounded object, the object's charge voltage can rise sharply, posing a risk of static sparks. The energy at that time may exceed the minimum ignition energy of various flammable gases and vapors. Earth-Rite PLUS ensures grounding of IBCs and drums with two systems: "interlock" and "indicator (display)." By using it, static charges can be safely removed, preventing ignition due to static discharge, and continuously monitoring grounding resistance values to eliminate ignition risks during operation.
